Guide to O-Ringen Stockholm 2027
Preamble :Finally, it’s time for Stockholm to host O-Ringen. In 2027, the world’s largest orienteering adventure comes to Sweden’s capital.
When O-Ringen comes to Stockholm, the world’s largest orienteering adventure awaits. Over five days, tens of thousands of orienteers from around the world will gather to run challenging courses and experience the unique community that makes O-Ringen more than just a competition.
The last time O-Ringen was held in Stockholm was in 1975. This time, the event returns to a city where forests, lakes and urban life exist side by side. O-Ringen City will be set up in Norra Djurgården, a scenic park just a few kilometers from central Stockholm with camping, activities, and meeting places for participants, families and supporters.
Between stages, there’s also time to explore more of Stockholm – from the beautiful archipelago and popular swimming spots to historic sites, cozy cafés, and renowned restaurants. It’s the perfect mix of orienteering, nature and city life for a week full of adventure.
