Welcome to what might be the world’s most beautiful marathon – the Adidas Stockholm Marathon on 30 May 2026. Unfortunately, we can’t help you run all 42.195 kilometres, but we can help make the rest of your weekend full of memorable experiences. Here we’ve gathered activities and tips for both runners and supporters.

The race takes runners through some of Stockholm’s most iconic and scenic areas – from the waterfront boulevards of Djurgården and the historic surroundings of Gamla stan to the lively neighbourhoods of Södermalm and Kungsholmen, before finishing at the historic Stockholm Olympic Stadium.
Cheering for Germany?
The countries with the highest number of runners in the Stockholm Marathon each get their own DJ station along the course, with music and flags creating an extra festive atmosphere for supporters and participants alike.

- Finland: Intersection of Götgatan and Ringvägen
- Sweden: Intersection of Strandvägen and Narvavägen
