Celebrate Stockholm Pride 2026

Summer in Stockholm gets even more colourful during Stockholm Pride 2026, taking over the city from 27 July to 1 August. This year, the festival moves to the new Pride District in Slakthusområdet, while parades, concerts, clubs and celebrations spread across Stockholm.
In late July and early August, Stockholm comes alive with Pride celebrations across the city. Restaurants, clubs, museums and cultural venues all take part in this year’s Stockholm Pride festivities. Here you’ll find a selection of things to do and places to visit during Pride Week.
What happens during Stockholm Pride 2026?
- Pride Week takes place from 27 July to 1 August.
- The Pride Parade takes place on Saturday 1 August.
- Pride House at Clarion Sign by Norra Bantorget hosts talks, debates and cultural events throughout the week.
- Pride District in Slakthusområdet becomes the festival’s new main gathering spot, filled with concerts, club nights, food, bars and activities. It’s easy to get here by metro – take the green line to Globen or Gullmarsplan.

Stockholm Pride Parade 2026 route
The Stockholm Pride Parade 2026 takes place on Saturday 1 August, starting at 1 pm.
This year, the parade follows a new route, starting at the waterfront boulevard Norr Mälarstrand (Kungsholmstorg) and making its way through central Stockholm before finishing near Slussen with music, celebrations and thousands of spectators lining the streets along the route.
Great places to watch the Pride Parade
- Sergels torg: A new addition to the 2026 parade route. Watch the Pride Parade pass through the very heart of Stockholm's city centre.
- Kungsträdgården: A great spot if you want to combine the parade with a break at one of the area's many outdoor cafés and restaurants.
- Skeppsbron: Enjoy a unique view of the parade with Stockholm's waterfront as a scenic backdrop.
