Cozy wine bars, innovative bartenders, and nightclubs open to the break of dawn. Here's how to spend a night out in Östermalm.
Östermalm has some of Stockholm's most famous streets for nightlife, with Stureplan Square being the beating heart at the center of the districts club scene. Here, or on directly adjacent streets, you'll find Sturehof, Riche, Spy Bar, and Teatergrillen to name a few.
This doesn't mean that Östermalm only caters to parting clubgoers. You'll also find cozy wine bars like Tyge & Sessil and craft brewery bars like Mikkeller and Omaka for a laidback evening with drinks amongst friends. And if you're more of a cocktail person, Östermalm has some of Stockholm's buzziest bars like A bar called Gemma, Lucy's Flowershop, Coquetel Social, and Stjärtilleriet for example.
