Getting there

Many stables and farms in the Stockholm region can be reached by public transport, which makes it easy to combine riding with other sightseeing.

  • Use the SL public transport app or journey planner to find the best combination of metro, commuter train and bus.
  • Rides on Djurgården and Norra Djurgården (Häståkeriet, Stora Skuggan 4H farm, Skansen) can often be combined with a walk or bike ride through the Royal National City Park.

Equipment & experience level

You don’t need to bring a full riding wardrobe to join a tour, but a few basics will make your experience safer and more comfortable.
