Stockholm is a perfect city to discover on a bike. Here are some places where you can rent one!
With over 700 miles of bike lanes, Stockholm is perfect for cycling. There are bike paths and bike lanes all over and you can easily get around between the areas of inner-city Stockholm and out on Djurgården, an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Out of air? Most gas stations have a bicycle pump, free of charge.
There are also several public bicycle pumps to pump up your tires, should they run out. Here's a map to find the nearest one!
Many locals opt for a bike when commuting to work, or just getting around. But if you're visiting you've probably left your bike back home. Luckily there are plenty of bike rental shops spread across town, great either for anyone who wants a relaxing afternoon trip or planning a cycling weekend on the islands of the Stockholm archipelago.

- Rent-a-bike – Centrally located rental shop on Strandvägen, close to Djurgården. City bikes, e-bikes, and children's bikes are available from one hour up to seven days. Rent-a-bike also organizes guided bike tours in multiple languages.
- Gamla Stans Cykel – Cozy bike repair shop in Old Town that's been around since 1917. Get your bike serviced, buy accessories, or rent a bike for up to one week.
- Mountainbikeskolan – Adventurous mountain bike classes and rentals in southern Stockholm. Located 15 minutes by bus from Slussen, by Lake Källtorp in the Nacka Nature Reserve.
- Cykelstallet – Bike rental and repair shop on Kungsholmen. Has city bikes, e-bikes, mountain bikes, and more. Also offers ski and skate rentals during the winter months.
- Weelo E-bike Tours – Rental company for e-bikes and e-scooters. Weelo has also prepared two self-guided tours which can be followed by mounting your smartphone on the vehicle.
