5 ways to explore Stockholm, between the Bad Bunny concerts

Publish date: 8 May 2026

For Camilla Jara, who works with events at the City of Stockholm’s Culture Administration, a Bad Bunny weekend is more than just a concert – it’s a chance to experience Stockholm in the best way. From slow daytime moments to late-night dance floors, here are her five tips for making the most of your Benito weekend in Stockholm.

When Bad Bunny arrives in Stockholm on July 10–11, 2026, the city will be buzzing all weekend long. We asked fan and Stockholm local Camilla Jara to share her favorite ways to experience the city between the concerts – from waterfront hangs and long lunches to late-night dance floors.

Reset before the chaos

"Start your weekend in Slakthuset – one of Stockholm’s most vibrant areas right now. Ease into the day at The Sacred Sauna and take a moment to reset and recharge. A little 'Callaíta' energy before the night fully kicks off."

Visit Stockholm

"From there, head to Restaurant Solen for a long lunch with your friends. As the tempo starts to build, make your way towards Skanstull and Nytorget on Södermalm – Stockholm’s creative and laid-back southern district, filled with bars, cafés and restaurants.

End your night at Trädgården – an open-air club where the beats carry you well into the night, with hopefully some of Bad Bunny’s finest hits blasting out the speakers!"

Beach mode, city edition

"Spend a day in Hornstull, a relaxed waterfront area on western Södermalm, and enter beach-mode. Rent a kayak at Långholmen, where cliffs and swimming spots line the water. Stretch out in the sun, take a swim, and recharge before the night ahead.

Tap into your 'después de la playa' mood and grab dinner at Chelas – their tacos always hit the spot – and continue to Tjoget for drinks in a buzzing atmosphere."

Classic Stockholm, Benito edition

A visit to Stockholm isn’t complete without exploring Gamla stan, the city’s historic Old Town. Wander through narrow alleyways and beautiful architecture, pass by the Royal Palace and take in the city’s history at your own pace.

Continue towards Kungsträdgården, where you can pause for a cold drink in the middle of the city. There you will also find La Plaza – the place where Stockholm’s Bad Bunny crowd gathers to celebrate the Benito-weekend together with events, food and DJs!"

Archipelago escape

At Östermalm – start with a fika; the best cinnamon buns can be found at Stora Bageriet.

Then hop on the boat to Fjäderholmarna and wander among cozy cafés, workshops and small shops (don’t forget your swimwear and a towel – unless you’re afraid of swimming).

Enjoy lunch in the sun and treat yourself to my favorite: Toast Skagen. Back in the city, round off the day on Nybrogatan – just pick a spot depending on your mood.

Keep the rhythm going

"Not ready to call it a night – or just getting started? Stockholm’s Latin clubs keep the energy alive and let you dance into the late night.

Check out Club Caribe or Kristallen and dance into the early hours. This is where the weekend shifts into full Safaera mode – no holding back."
