Aryam

Award-winning ice cream parlor Aryam was founded by Hosanna Amanuel, a pastry chef and baker by trade, in 2020. Since then it has served tasty Italian-style gelato, made from fresh ingredients.

To the highest degree possible, family-owned and trendy Bistro Bananas lives by the motto “something for everyone.” The menu seizes upon urban food culture with precision – from incredible pizzas to three-course vegan meals. The wood oven and kitschy neon colors meet in an unpretentious setting. Outdoor seating lines the classic flatiron building on Skånegatan in the summertime.

Snabba katten

In dreamy, peach-pink premises on Tegnérgatan, Bistro Leoparden is managed by experienced restaurateur siblings Markéta and Jakub Vávra. Here, italophiles can enjoy delicacies such as Tuscan mortadella, Italian oysters, and ricotta cake. However, bistro rests firmly on two foundations: firstly, the artisanal pizza (baked in a special oven from – of course – Naples) and, secondly, the fresh beer. In true Czech fashion, it is poured into a chilled tankard to form a large, creamy head. At the same address lies the newly opened sister establishment Snabba Katten, which targets beer lovers to an even greater extent.

Gazza is a spaghetteria with craft pasta at its core. The menu varies, but can include anolini – small saucers filled with liquid parmesan – or ravioli with rabbit ragu, lardo and sage. They spend days making the foccacia just right and the espresso machine is, of course, imported straight from Milano. If you&#x27;re not one for pasta, stracciatella cheese, charcuterie and carne cruda are also on the menu, but Book in advance, because the room tends to get filled quickly.

A thin crust, traditional Italian pizza is on its way onto a large brick oven. Two more pizzas also on the go and are looking delicious.

Giro is the result of a genuine collaboration based on like-minded values between Nobis and one of the world&#x27;s oldest pizzerias Da Michele. With inspiration from classic pizzerias in Naples and ingredients selected with extra care, Giro creates pizzas to love.

In a short period of time, Italienaren i Gubbängen has become the obvious weekend-hangout spot for the residents of the Stockholm suburb of Gubbängen. The small café is also a gelateria, pizzeria and Italian deli all rolled up into one. The ice cream is made on-site and is classically creamy Italian gelato and sorbet.

Italianskans refer to the restaurant their &quot;very own red-white-green culinary raffle,&quot; where the love for all of Italy&#x27;s different regions (and the company around the table!) shines through. The location in central Stockholm is suitable for both a panini prosciutto to go, or a four-course aperitivo-antipasto-primo-secondo family dinner that never ends. The roof terrace is one of the newest in Stockholm with a view that gives a bustling metropolitan feel.

La Piccola Nonna started out as a pizzeria-on-wheels before getting a permanent residence on Södermalm, just a short walk from Medborgarplatsen. The restaurant bakes Neapolitan-inspired pizzas but with a twist; all pies are vegetarian or vegan.

L&#x27;Avventura&#x27;s is located on the premises of a former movie theater which is hinted at both in its name (having a namesake in Michelangelo Antonioni&#x27;s 1961 masterpiece) and in its stylish and grandiose main dining room. The menu consists of classic dishes covering the whole Apennine peninsula. The restaurant&#x27;s ambition is simply to take Italian dining in Stockholm and bring it to a whole new level.

Nicolas Cappiello and Giuseppe De Bernardo founded Magari Pizza with the ambition of bringing Stockholm the authentic taste of the Campania region – &quot;where the real Italian pizza was born&quot;. Apart from its eponymous specialty, Magari Pizza serves tasty pasta dishes for lunch on weekdays. Gourmet Italophiles will also be happy to find the menu rife with Neapolitan antipasti and desserts, such as the famous babà roll!

Mancini

Mancini on Tunnelgatan has been hailed as the best Italian restaurant in Sweden by Gambero Rosso magazine. The menu is genuinely Italian and is accompanied by a wine list with a bottle of delicious bianchi, rossi, spumati, or dessert wine to go with any meal.

Not only are Meno Males delicious Neapolitan pizzas made from typical tipo flour and traditional Italian ingredients like fior di late, prosciutto cotto and Portobello mushroom. The restaurant’s pizza oven itself was made by craftsmen in Napoli and later shipped to Sweden, to make sure every plate keeps the highest crispy pizza standards.

&quot;Come early and stay late&quot; is the motto of Olli. In addition to south-Italian cuisine and an impressive wine selection, music is another defining trait of this new venue; owner Oliver Ingrosso is a popular DJ with ties to several well-known Swedish artists, so the music selection in the beautiful cocktail lounge. is always carefully considered.

Spesso is Italian for &quot;often&quot; and the ambition of this centrally located rooftop restaurant is to be a place diners gladly return to, meal after meal. The panoramic view of Stockholm is accompanied by modern Italian dishes, made on seasonal ingredients.

At Taverna Brillo you can have breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktails. The main dining room is surrounded by two bars. The venue also includes a pizzeria, bread shop, charcuterie, deli counter, orangery and an ice cream parlor. The food concept - Italian in Swedish translation - was developed in partnership with Swedish celebrity chef Tommy Myllimäki.

Started by cousins Davide and Enrico, The Italian Cousins is a great place for genuine pizza made of fresh produce from smaller Italian and Swedish farms and producers. Come in for a quick snack, lunch or dinner. They currently have three spots; a pizzeria in Vasastan, a pizzeria and bar in Normalm and a pizzeria and salumeria on Södermalm.
