Restaurang Oxenstiernan

Almost hidden away in a park (a mere stone's throw from the Swedish History Museum), Restaurang Oxenstiernan can be found inside an exquisite 17th-century mansion. Head chef Elvira Lindqvist presents an ever-changing menu where the words quality, sustainability and locally produced are the sole constants. Design is also important, with a host of prominent Swedish designers contributing to an elegant yet simple dining experience. As owner (and silversmith) Sebastian Schildt puts it: "Imagine a restaurant with red-and-white checkered tablecloths – but it's the best tablecloths there are!"
