Häverö Prästängs nature preserve

In Häverö prästäng along the Roslagen coast, beautiful meadows spread out. Here, hepaticas and wood anemones bloom early in the spring. The area is known for its intense spring and early summer bird song. Häverö prästäng is one of the few bigger mowings in Roslagen that still harvests traditionally to preserve the rich flora.

A deciduous forest dominates outside the meadows, but coniferous forests, outcrop, and shore meadows are also prevalent. In the nature preserve you can find beaches and swimming possibilities.
