Gustav III's Museum of Antiquities

NOTE: The Museum of Antiquities is open to pre-booked groups only from May through September, and is closed for the rest of the year.
The museum holds the collection of classical sculptures purchased by King Gustav III during his journey to Italy (1783–84).

This is Sweden’s oldest public art museum, recently renovated and housed in its original location in the Royal Palace.
