Built in 1893, Grand Hotel Saltsjöbaden is an imposing landmark located in the affluent suburb of Saltsjöbaden. The hotel was built by financial tycoon K.A. Wallenberg, with inspiration from luxurious French hotels like the Hotel de Paris in Monte Carlo. Obviously, it's first and foremost a hotel. But you don't have to be an overnight guest to enjoy a great dinner in the hotel's classic dining room, Franska Matsalen, with it a beautiful view of the Stockholm Archipelago.
