Marja-Leena Sillanpää – Librarium Futurum 1968–2028

Sillanpää sees the world through books. In her eyes anything, a stone, a piece of wood can be a book. At the same time, she views books in the same manner as other artistic materials. In them she finds an opening that allows her to implement an idea and a conceptual action. When she finds, or is found by, a charged object, she approaches it based on the idea it gives rise to.
