Marie Krøyer

Marie Krøyer (1867 – 1940) was noted in Scandinavia during her lifetime for her dramatic personal life with Norwegian-Danish painter P.S. Krøyer and Swedish composer Hugo Alfvén. This major exhibition shows the breadth of her compelling work as a painter as well as designer of furniture, textiles and interiors. The exhibition has been created in collaboration with the Art Museums of Skagen and the Hirschsprung Collection.
