When choreographer Jean Börlin meets the rich Rolf de Maré, it marks the beginning of a story about dance, love and ambitious dreams. For them there are no obstacles, and in the autumn of 1920, they head to Paris with their dance troupe – Ballets Suédois, The Swedish Ballet. Over five hectic years, the dance company will push the boundaries of dance, and tour Europe and the United States.
