Family – for Better or Worse

The exhibition explores family relationships in art – as both foundation and abyss, as a safe haven and as a perpetual zone of conflict – and shows how artists have worked with the family as a subject. With 49 artists and 81 works, from the late 18th century to the present day, featuring Carl Larsson, Lena Cronqvist, Marianne Lindberg De Geer, Leif Holmstrand, Siri Derkert, Ivar Arosenius, Marie-Louise Ekman, Kayo Mpoyi, Bror Hjorth, Martina Müntzing, Duda Bebek, and Ylva Snöfrid.
