The action takes place in a snowy London at Christmas 1843, the same year that Charles Dickens wrote the story. The greedy and bitter Ebenezer Scrooge scoffs at love, community, and family. He only cares about himself and his business. Suddenly one Christmas night, the cold-hearted old man is visited by three spirits who take him on a journey through time and space that will change Ebenezer Scrooge profoundly.Performed in English by a British ensemble.

In the glow of the Lucia crown and the living candles, some of Stockholm&#x27;s best children&#x27;s and youth choirs sing, including the Storkyrkan Chamber Choir and our slightly older choir, the S:t Jacobs Vocal Ensemble, the beloved songs that belong to the special Swedish tradition of Lucia and St. Stephen&#x27;s celebrations.

Meet Saint Lucy in the Stockholm Cathedral

Experience a traditional and atmospheric Lucia train in the beautiful Seglora church at Skansen, the open-air museum. The first Lucia procession at Skansen was held as early as 1893 – this year it’s the 130th anniversary!The concerts are approximately 30 minutes. The entry starts 20 minutes before the start. No entry after the concert has started.
