Here, you can experience the pristine archipelago&#x27;s diverse scenery and rich, exciting wildlife. Don&#x27;t be surprised if you get to see elks, foxes, owls, and eagles. </p><p data-block-key=\"85tio\">Follow one of the island&#x27;s many hiking trails, which are of varying length and difficulty. Take the one that leads up to the lookout point Tysta Klint, 36 meters above the sea, and you&#x27;ll see far over the ocean and bay.</p><p data-block-key=\"83k34\">Fjärdlång is a great destination for the whole family. Aside from the many hiking trails, there are large grassy areas suitable for different ball games and activities. Swim from the rocks or the small sandy beach by the harbor. Rent a kayak or row boat and explore the waters around the island. In late summer and fall, Fjärdlång&#x27;s berry and mushroom picking might be more appealing than swimming. Fishing, of course, can be done year-round.</p>",

Commonly known as &quot;the author&#x27;s island,&quot; Runmarö is one of the nearest islands in the Värmdö archipelago; the boat trip from Stavsnäs takes just 10 minutes and the boats go regularly all year round. </p><p data-block-key=\"2bdvl\">In summer, the meadows bloom orchids and Runmarö can show off 27 different species. Runmarö showcases a very exciting and varied nature, and the island actually has nine lakes, although they call them marshes here. One of these is the Magical Silver Swamp, which was acknowledged by Strindberg. </p><p data-block-key=\"6jlg8\">Runmarö is a great starting point for kayak tours. On the southern part of the island, by Solberga Gård, you can rent kayaks, shop for handmade crafts in the farm shop, or enjoy the view from the garden café. Telegrafberget - the island&#x27;s highest point can also be found there. It&#x27;s a popular destination with breathtaking views of all the outward islands.</p>",
