Ornö

Ornö is - despite being the southern archipelago's biggest island - hardly exploited at all. Nature here is beautiful and largely unspoiled. In the woods, wildlife is abundant. Explore Ornö by bike or with skis if you come in winter.

The buildings in Ornö are located around Kyrkviken. This is where you'll find the church, school, museum, library, and restaurant, as well as the many popular guest docks. You can go to Ornö year round by car ferry from Dalarö. In summer, there are small cottages for rent and many places to eat or have a coffee.
