Parliament House

Melker Dahlstrand

Maybe a prime example of Sweden's openness is the fact that Riksdagshuset - the Parliament House - is open to anyone wishing to attend a debate, public hearing or a study visit. Between September and June, when the parliament is in session, you can visit Riksdagshuset for guided tours and learn how Sweden is actually run and Swedish political history. Tours in English start 13.30, every Saturday and Sunday, and are free of charge but have to be booked in advance.
