Sweden has some of the best motorcycle speedway racers (or just speedway, as it’s called here) in the world. In this motorcycle sport, teams compete on an oval dirt track over multiple heats to determine which team has collected the most points and thus won the game.
Currently, there are no speedway clubs based in central Stockholm. But one of Sweden’s best teams, Rospiggarna, can be found just north of Stockholm in Hallstavik. The speedway season last from May to August.
