Visit Stockholm

The Stockholm archipelago’s most southern point, Landsort is actually the name of the lighthouse on Öja Island’s southernmost promontory. Öja is a long, narrow island, about 4 km (2.5 miles) long and 600 meters (1/3 mile) wide, with nice walking paths from north to south. The island’s hostel is open year-round, and it is just as exciting to visit Landsort in the fall or winter as it is during the summer. It is also a popular place for bird watching.
