American Football is relatively new in Sweden, with the first teams forming in 1982. Superserien, the premier league of American Football in Sweden, started in 1991. Since then, one of Sweden’s most successful teams in the sport has been Stockholm Mean Machines, winning the series seven times and the Swedish Championship-title ten times.
Superserien is played April to June and has both a men’s and women’s division. Zinkensdamns IP is Stockholm Mean Machine's home arena, and tickets can be bought in the ticket booth.
