Nadya is a journalist, stylist, and entrepreneur who lives with her seven-year-old son Edward. Her weekdays are filled with (among other things) travels, holistic workouts, and browsing for inspiring design pieces for their Djurgården home. A passionate fashion-and-design aficionado, Nadya is always looking for new and dreamy experiences. Her motto is “Sprinkle life with extra everything”, and winning a Hermès-scarf auction (or some other design classic) at a bargain price certainly helps!

Rosendal's Garden

Rosendals Trädgård is one of Stockholm’s true gems! The garden café is located in a fantastic setting on Djurgården island and offers salads, soups, sandwiches and pastries made in the bakery next door. The café uses organic and biodynamic ingredients, a lot of them even come from their own garden. Many Stockholmers make the pilgrimage to Rosendal on sunny days, but there’s room for numerous guests. In the summer you can sit on the grass in the orchard. Don&#x27;t miss to pop in to the little boutique before you leave. Best way to get here is to walk from the bridge Djurgårdsbron, follow the canal and you will see the signs.

Occupying the same address since 1920, Tössebageriet is well-known as one of Stockholm&#x27;s most historic classic bakeshops. Take a lunch break with a sandwich made from home-made bread in the cozy bakeshop atmosphere, or enjoy a pastry if you&#x27;re able to choose from among their tempting creations. They have everything in the way of pastries and cakes, and their Semlor makes the &quot;Best Of&quot; list for the city every year.

The building was designed by Ferdinand Boberg specifically to house banker and art patron Ernest Thiel’s magnificent art collection and was completed in 1907. The classic interior design company Svenskt Tenn has its flagship store on the beautiful shoreline boulevard of Strandvägen. The company originated with a fortuitous meeting between two courageous people with fresh ideas: the stylist and businesswoman Estrid Ericsson and the designer Josef Frank. The timeless, amazingly-patterned, and brilliantly colored creations are cause for a pilgrimage for anyone with an interest in design and interior furnishings. The store has modern classics, a lovely gift department with glass, pottery, and objects by younger established designers.

Märta Larsson got into jewelry design during her time as vocalist for The Don’t Fucking Cares. Basically, she wanted custom-made rings and necklaces to wear during the band’s live shows. Today she has branched out into clothes and accessories, but with the same punk-rock ruggedness that makes her jewelry so unique.
