For more than two decades, We Are Scientists have been one of indie rock’s most reliable purveyors of tight guitar hooks, sharp lyrics, and that perfect balance of tension and energy. The New York duo Keith Murray and Chris Cain first started playing together in college in the late ’90s — and since then have built a career that has not only weathered every trend and shift in the scene, but has continued to evolve without ever losing its core.
