In 1954, Vällingby became Sweden’s first ABC city – where work, housing and services were close together. A new societal vision emerged, but who was the future for? This walking tour explores women's place in Folkhemmet (the people’s home) through housewife ideals, childcare, and work life. Price: 120, 160, or 200 SEK. Please note that tickets must be bought in advance via Billetto, none are sold on site. Limited number of tickets. A tour by Kvinnohistoriska in collaboration with ArkDes.
