Visit the Mounted Horse Guards at the Stables

The approximately 75 horses used for state ceremonial mounted activities are located at the Livgardet Cavalry Barracks in central Stockholm. They are cared for, trained, and ridden on both ordinary days and during parades by the personnel of the Life Guards. The horses are owned by the Association for the Mounted Guard, a non-profit organization funded by its members and sponsors. The stables and riding arena will be shown on this guided tour.
