TurboOpera: From Blank Page to Short Opera in Six Days

Twelve talented directors, composers and librettists under 35 have been selected for TurboOpera – an experimental competition in newly written short opera. Divided into four teams, they receive a shared theme and six days to create a ten-minute opera each. On March 29 at 6 pm, the works meet the audience on Folkoperan’s stage. With a host and jury present, courage, curiosity and playfulness take center stage. Ticket sales fund a scholarship for the winning team.
