The Noice of Time

Actor Johan Ulveson plays the role of composer Dmitrij Sjostakovitj musical theatre production based on Julian Barnes novel The Noise of Time. The most celebrated composer of the Soviet era has been left out in the cold after writing an opera that Stalin perceives as anit-Soviet. A current human destiny about choosing between survival and artistic freedom in a totalitarian society is interspersed with Sjostakovitjs fantastic music.
