Tarja Turunen is a Finnish soprano and singer, best known as the former vocalist of the symphonic metal band Nightwish. Her unique blend of classical singing and hard rock has defined a new genre and inspired many other artists. She has also released several solo albums and toured globally with her powerful and dramatic voice.
