TAL R - The Elephant in the Room

With his characteristic mix of playfulness and austerity, the world-renowned artist Tal R (b. 1967) takes over Millesgården in an exhibition that both irritates and surprises. In Carl Milles’ studio, the audience encounters a monumental pink elephant among Milles’ white plaster sculptures – an enigmatic presence in the historical setting. In the art gallery, the story continues with colorful paintings and sculptures that explore the home, its rooms and the relationships created within them.
