The church door is locked. Likewise, the Word of the Bible remains closed to many. Reformer Olof wants to open both. In 1526, he translates the New Testament into Swedish. The performance presents scenes from August Strindberg’s early play Master Olof, interwoven with newly written scenes exploring how the Word speaks to us today. In autumn 2026, a new translation of the New Testament will be published.
