August Strindberg and Ellen Key once stood side by side – peers in age, moving in the same circles with mutual respect. But during one of Strindberg’s divorces, everything fell apart. Drawing on Black Banners, Misused Female Power and hidden gems from the operatic repertoire, a playful and charged performance unfolds at Strindberg’s Intimate Theatre, accompanied by a wistful accordion.
