Serge Lifar, Artist’s Case

Serge Lifar (1905–1986), born in Kyiv, is one of the most influential figures in 20th-century European ballet. The film Serge Lifar, Artist’s Case paints a multifaceted portrait of an artist whose life coincided with some of Europe’s most dramatic upheavals. Before the world premiere screening, there will be a conversation with screenwriter Anna Lodygina and producer Iryna Pervysheva about the work on the film and the conditions for media production in today’s Ukraine.
