In Béla Bartók's short opera Riddar Blåskäggs borg, the young Judith asks her new husband to open the seven closed doors in his castle in the strong belief that she will make him whole with her love. In the end, she has opened one door too many, and his cruel fate is revealed. In the newly written work Judith by Malin Bång, we travel further into the subconscious, but now it is Judith's fears and desires that we wander among. Directed by Wouter Van Looy. Libretto by Béla Balacz and Mara Lee.
