Pixies

Pixies. Just the name makes all avid fans of alternative rock bow to the head out of respect for Black Francis and his band members for their contribution to the music genre. When they were formed in the mid-80s, no one could have imagined that they would now, almost 40 years later, be considered one of the most important acts of the late 20th century. But so it is. Without Pixies no Nirvana, Blur, Weezer or Radiohead.
