Formed in 1970 by Alexis Korner, Peter Thorup and John Cameron, CCS blended blues, jazz and rock with London’s top studio musicians. Now Opus Big Band performs Cameron’s original arrangements, featuring classics like “Whole Lotta Love” and “16 Tons”. Guest vocalist Virginia Pihlblad joins for an evening of big band swing and blues at Teater Bristol.
