Opening: Long Live the Tradition of Knitting!

Join us in opening the new exhibition at K. A. Almgren Silk Weaving Mill & Museum. Since 2022, Karin Kahnlund and Evelin Skeppström have organized the event “A Swedish Knitting Classic,” a challenge for knitters who wish to pass on their knowledge of traditional knitted garments and old knitting techniques. The exhibition features a large number of sweaters and mittens from several years of knitting classics, which are based on older folk designs but are given a personal touch by their knitters.
