The Royal Swedish Ballet School welcomes dance-interested children between the ages of 7 and 10 to our open dance class on September 20 and October 25, from 10:00 to 12:15. Here, participating children will have the chance to try classical ballet, contemporary dance, and other elements of dance training. All in a safe and educational environment together with our students, our experienced teachers, and other children who share a love of dance.

The open dance classes at the Royal Swedish Ballet School are open to all children regardless of previous dance experience, and the event is free of charge. Our goal is to help children discover and develop their love of dance, as well as our education, which has roots in the dance traditions of the 18th century. With us, students attend from elementary school through high school. It is a solid education with experienced teachers in both dance and all academic subjects.

The participating children are divided into two groups according to age, and in two consecutive sessions they will get to try both classical ballet and contemporary dance through simple exercises in a joyful training environment. The Royal Swedish Ballet School’s trial dance sessions are held at our premises in Münchenbryggeriet, Söder Mälarstrand 39, close to Mariatorget subway station.
