Novo Amor

Ali John Meredith-Lacey launched the project Novo Amor after a breakup. Just like Justin Vernon with his Bon Iver. That's not the only similarity. Novo Amor, like Bon Iver, walks that line between tastefully restrained and orchestrally grand. The Welsh indie-folk popper sings with complete sincerity to soft guitar picking, orchestral arrangements, and sweeping pedal steel sounds. Despite Wales' small population, the country spits out great musicians on a regular basis.
