Maria Olsson - Origin, Painted collages 10-29/1

I mostly work with a photo-based painting, where I combine different images from two or more photographs. I build a scene where I insert people from different times. Sometimes these people do not fit in with their surroundings and a mildly surreal feeling arises. Time plays a central role in paintings. The motifs shift from the past to the present, or no time at all. My main artistic medium is acrylic paint and water based oil paint on mdf boards.
