Leonidas Kavakos: Shostakovitch’s Violin Concerto No. 2

Internationally renowned violinist Leonida Kavakos returns to the Swedish Radio concert hall Berwaldhallen with Dmitri Shostakovich’s last concerto, the second for violin in C-sharp major. The Colombian conductor Andrés Orozco-Estrada also conducts the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra in music by Richard Strauss: the symphonic poems Tod und Verklärung, Till Eulenspiegels lustige Streiche, and Der Rosenkavalier suite.
