The concert Parkers Mood is both a tribute to the legendary saxplayer and virtuoso Charlie Parker and a sort of reflection of his weeklong tour in Sweden in 1950, 70 years ago.
The eponymous album was chosen as the year's tribute album in 2021 by music journal LIRA and voted by the Orchestra Journal/Jazz as the third best jazz record of 2021.
