Turkey's most exciting alternative synthpop export is coming to Stockholm! Jakuzi, the synthpop band from Istanbul, fuses dark 80s nostalgia with contemporary emotions and Turkish lyrics. Since their inception in 2015 by frontman Kutay Soyocak, they have developed a unique sound that combines influences from darkwave, postpunk and new wave, with clear echoes of artists such as Depeche Mode, The Human League and John Maus.
