Vernissage Queer Tattoo History / Stories and film A body to live in, a documentary about Fakir Musafar and queer bodymod history. Tattooer Sara Swanson has interviewed queers who got tattooed during the 70s and 80s, and photographer Del LaGrace Volcano has portrayed the storytellers. Times where tattooing and queerness were taboo, shameful, and/or forbidden AND an act filled with resistance, power, and desire. Director Angelo Madsen will present the film and his important research in an online talk.
