Die Zauberflöte

The Queen of the Night asks Tamino to rescue her daughter Pamina who has been abducted by Sarastro. If he succeeds, Tamino can marry Pamina. The bird catcher Papageno follows Tamino on his quest with his magic flute and glockenspiel. But nothing is what it appears to be. Are Pamina’s mother and Sarastro both evil, or neither of them? Tamino, Papageno, and Pamina are soon subjected to a series of challenging trials.
