Brother Gregory's miracle stories

In 1421, the monk Gregory was struck by severe plague boils in his groin. As he lay on his deathbed, he felt guilty that he had not yet published the recorded miracles that had occurred in his monastery. He made a sacred promise that if he recovered, he would publish the stories without further delay. The boils in his groin burst and the monk recovered.
