Billy Cobham, 81, is widely regarded as one of the greatest drummers in the fusion world. He broke through in Miles Davis’ fusion ensemble in 1970 and co-founded the Mahavishnu Orchestra the following year. In 1973 he released his debut album Spectrum, which has become a cornerstone of fusion history. Now he comes to Fasching with his quintet for an evening of explosive, virtuosic drum-driven fusion.
