Baroque Secrets: Concert with Ensemble Pizzic’Arco

Ensemble Pizzic’Arco play a concert for mandolin, colascione, cembalo and violin with notes heard in the streets of Naples during the 18th century. The program consists of pieces composed for mandolin and strings by Campanian composers from the mid 1700's, whose manuscripts can be found in the Gimo collection at Carolina Rediviva at Uppsala University. Before the concert, the researchers Anna Rita Addessi and Lars Berglund present the history of the manuscripts in the collection. Free entry.
