When We See Us: A century of Black figurative painting has been celebrated internationally as one of the most significant exhibitions of our time. The exhibition comprises over 155 works borrowed from institutions and private collectors from 26 different countries. The artworks, created by Black artists around the world over the past century, are set in dialogue with contemporary Black thinkers, writers, and poets.

When We See Us

Nordic Moments at the Nordic Museum highlights photographic collections in an evolving presentation. The opening exhibition Metamorphoses displays negatives rescued from the project 100,000 Photo Memories, where time and chemistry created new visual expressions. On view from October 17, 2025.

I utställningen The Left Shore möts filmaren Johan Renck och fotografen Anders Petersen. Centrum i utställningen är en stillbildsfilm av Johan Renck som bygger på Anders Petersens dokumentära svartvita fotografier. Filmen är ljudsatt med nykomponerad musik. I utställningen finns också originalfotografier av Anders Petersen, som bland annat ingått i hans bildsviter från svenska fängelser och slutna mentalvårdsinstitutioner.
